[Cell Biolabs] DNA Coating Solution, with 96-well Plate

 

Product Details:

It is known that DNA has a low binding affinity for unmodified plastic surfaces, so positively charged groups such as amino groups are often used to precoat plates.  However, these precoating procedures are costly and time-consuming. Cell Biolabs' DNA Coating Solution is a quick, simple and cost-effective method for immobilizing DNA and Oligonucleotides onto unmodified microplate wells.

• Shelf Life: 2 years from date of receipt under proper storage conditions

Protocol:

• Add 50-100 µL of DNA at 1-20 µg/mL in TE Buffer to each well of a 96-well microplate.
• Add an equal volume (50-100 µL) of DNA Coating Solution. Mix well by pipetting and incubate 2 hours or overnight at room temperature on an orbital shaker.
• Remove unbound DNA with a wash solution compatible with downstream application, such as PBS or TBS.
